教學(xué)課題:PEP Book7 Unit6 The Story of Rain A Let’s learn
教學(xué)目標(biāo):
1.能夠聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫Part A Let’s learn的四會(huì)單詞:stream, rain, cloud, sun;能夠聽(tīng)說(shuō)認(rèn)讀單詞: vapour.
2.能夠聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、認(rèn)讀句型: Where does the rain come from?
3.能夠完成Let’s find out的任務(wù)。
4.通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí),了解雨的形成過(guò)程,知道rain/cloud/vapour/water之間的聯(lián)系。
5.培養(yǎng)學(xué)生善于觀察、樂(lè)于思索,從小熱愛(ài)大自然、熱愛(ài)科學(xué)的良好習(xí)慣。
教學(xué)重點(diǎn):對(duì)四會(huì)單詞和重點(diǎn)句型的掌握。
教學(xué)難點(diǎn):對(duì)雨的形成和對(duì)水循環(huán)知識(shí)的初步了解與感知。
教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備:單詞卡片,教學(xué)課件,教學(xué)資料光盤。
教學(xué)過(guò)程設(shè)計(jì):
一、Warm-up (熱身)
1. Let’s enjoy a song —— Rain, rain, go away (欣賞一首關(guān)于雨的歌曲)
2. Free talk(教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行日常對(duì)話練習(xí),主題是天氣、季節(jié)):
What day is it today?
What’s the weather like today?
What season is it now?
What’s the weather like in spring/ summer/ fall/ winter?
3. Brain-storm(頭腦風(fēng)暴,讓學(xué)生說(shuō)出學(xué)過(guò)的天氣單詞):
Can you mention some words about weather?
二、Lead-in (導(dǎo)入)
1. Listen and find out the weather in Harbin, Beijing and Dong Guan. (結(jié)合同步精練里的聽(tīng)力練習(xí),找出哈爾濱、北京和東莞的天氣)
2. Check the answer:
It’s sunny in Harbin. It’s cloudy in Beijing. It’s rainy in Dong Guan.
在檢查聽(tīng)力答案的同時(shí),教師板書(shū)“sunny”, “cloudy” and “rainy”.
3. T: Do you like rainy days? Today we’re going to learn “The story of rain”.
三、Presentation (重點(diǎn)呈現(xiàn))
1. T:There are five new words for you. The first one is rain. The second one is sun. The third is cloud. (通過(guò)聯(lián)系對(duì)比“sunny”, “cloudy” and “rainy”引出三個(gè)重點(diǎn)新詞:“sun”, “cloud” and “rain”)
2. T shows a picture: What can you see in the picture?
Ss : I can see the house, mountains, sun, birds, clouds…
T: Oh, the sun is missing. The white clouds are missing, too. The black clouds are coming. Oh, it rains heavily. (通過(guò)課件圖片,演示雨的形成)
引出重點(diǎn)句:Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds. (結(jié)合課件圖片提示,操練重點(diǎn)句型)
3. Where does the cloud come from? It comes from the vapour. (Teach “vapour”)
4. Where does the vapour come from? It comes from the water in the river, sea, stream. (對(duì)比“river”, “l(fā)ake”引出新詞“stream”)
四 Practice (鞏固操練)
1. Read new words. (四人小組讀單詞)
2. Game: Sharp eyes. (看圖片快閃,快速說(shuō)出單詞)
3. Guess the words. (拼讀完整單詞)
4. Choose the right words. (結(jié)合句子意思,選擇正確的單詞形式填空)
5. Let’s ask and answer: Where does the ______ come from? It comes from the _______. (對(duì)話操練)
6. Let’s find out: What can you see in the picture? (展示大自然的美麗風(fēng)光,滲透環(huán)保和品德教育)
教學(xué)反思:
本課主要是結(jié)合雨的形成過(guò)程讓學(xué)生重點(diǎn)學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)自然事物名稱的單詞。由于學(xué)生在四年級(jí)已經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)天氣的相關(guān)單詞,在五年級(jí)也學(xué)過(guò)季節(jié)的相關(guān)單詞,因此,在設(shè)計(jì)本課教學(xué)時(shí),通過(guò)復(fù)習(xí)舊知,對(duì)比聯(lián)系新詞,從而引出對(duì)新詞的學(xué)習(xí),能讓學(xué)生快速掌握單詞。雨的形成過(guò)程較為抽象,因此結(jié)合形象生動(dòng)的課件圖片,能清晰明了地呈現(xiàn),也能讓學(xué)生快速反應(yīng)整個(gè)過(guò)程?偟膩(lái)說(shuō),通過(guò)練習(xí)檢測(cè)可以看出學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)效果較好,能熟練掌握四會(huì)單詞,對(duì)雨的形成過(guò)程理解較好,能運(yùn)用重點(diǎn)句型進(jìn)行問(wèn)答練習(xí)。
