教學(xué)課題:PEP Book7 Unit6 The Story of Rain A Let’s learn
教學(xué)目標(biāo):
1.能夠聽、說、讀、寫Part A Let’s learn的四會單詞:stream, rain, cloud, sun;能夠聽說認(rèn)讀單詞: vapour.
2.能夠聽、說、認(rèn)讀句型: Where does the rain come from?
3.能夠完成Let’s find out的任務(wù)。
4.通過學(xué)習(xí),了解雨的形成過程,知道rain/cloud/vapour/water之間的聯(lián)系。
5.培養(yǎng)學(xué)生善于觀察、樂于思索,從小熱愛大自然、熱愛科學(xué)的良好習(xí)慣。
教學(xué)重點(diǎn):對四會單詞和重點(diǎn)句型的掌握。
教學(xué)難點(diǎn):對雨的形成和對水循環(huán)知識的初步了解與感知。
教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備:單詞卡片,教學(xué)課件,教學(xué)資料光盤。
教學(xué)過程設(shè)計(jì):
一、Warm-up (熱身)
1. Let’s enjoy a song —— Rain, rain, go away (欣賞一首關(guān)于雨的歌曲)
2. Free talk(教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行日常對話練習(xí),主題是天氣、季節(jié)):
What day is it today?
What’s the weather like today?
What season is it now?
What’s the weather like in spring/ summer/ fall/ winter?
3. Brain-storm(頭腦風(fēng)暴,讓學(xué)生說出學(xué)過的天氣單詞):
Can you mention some words about weather?
二、Lead-in (導(dǎo)入)
1. Listen and find out the weather in Harbin, Beijing and Dong Guan. (結(jié)合同步精練里的聽力練習(xí),找出哈爾濱、北京和東莞的天氣)
2. Check the answer:
It’s sunny in Harbin. It’s cloudy in Beijing. It’s rainy in Dong Guan.
在檢查聽力答案的同時(shí),教師板書“sunny”, “cloudy” and “rainy”.
3. T: Do you like rainy days? Today we’re going to learn “The story of rain”.
三、Presentation (重點(diǎn)呈現(xiàn))
1. T:There are five new words for you. The first one is rain. The second one is sun. The third is cloud. (通過聯(lián)系對比“sunny”, “cloudy” and “rainy”引出三個(gè)重點(diǎn)新詞:“sun”, “cloud” and “rain”)
2. T shows a picture: What can you see in the picture?
Ss : I can see the house, mountains, sun, birds, clouds…
T: Oh, the sun is missing. The white clouds are missing, too. The black clouds are coming. Oh, it rains heavily. (通過課件圖片,演示雨的形成)
引出重點(diǎn)句:Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds. (結(jié)合課件圖片提示,操練重點(diǎn)句型)
3. Where does the cloud come from? It comes from the vapour. (Teach “vapour”)
4. Where does the vapour come from? It comes from the water in the river, sea, stream. (對比“river”, “l(fā)ake”引出新詞“stream”)
四 Practice (鞏固操練)
1. Read new words. (四人小組讀單詞)
2. Game: Sharp eyes. (看圖片快閃,快速說出單詞)
3. Guess the words. (拼讀完整單詞)
4. Choose the right words. (結(jié)合句子意思,選擇正確的單詞形式填空)
5. Let’s ask and answer: Where does the ______ come from? It comes from the _______. (對話操練)
6. Let’s find out: What can you see in the picture? (展示大自然的美麗風(fēng)光,滲透環(huán)保和品德教育)
教學(xué)反思:
本課主要是結(jié)合雨的形成過程讓學(xué)生重點(diǎn)學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)自然事物名稱的單詞。由于學(xué)生在四年級已經(jīng)學(xué)過天氣的相關(guān)單詞,在五年級也學(xué)過季節(jié)的相關(guān)單詞,因此,在設(shè)計(jì)本課教學(xué)時(shí),通過復(fù)習(xí)舊知,對比聯(lián)系新詞,從而引出對新詞的學(xué)習(xí),能讓學(xué)生快速掌握單詞。雨的形成過程較為抽象,因此結(jié)合形象生動的課件圖片,能清晰明了地呈現(xiàn),也能讓學(xué)生快速反應(yīng)整個(gè)過程。總的來說,通過練習(xí)檢測可以看出學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)效果較好,能熟練掌握四會單詞,對雨的形成過程理解較好,能運(yùn)用重點(diǎn)句型進(jìn)行問答練習(xí)。
